So that we know more about microorganisms!

Explanation:

If we study bacteria, we can know one of the earliest forms of life, as well as their behavior, abilities, structure, and more.

We will be able to understand better how one of the first forms of life came to existence, and also how have they adapted to survive. It also gives us an insight to microbial life! We get to know how even the tiniest species can live for so long, without going extinct.

Also, bacteria and archaea are both prokaryotes, meaning that they have no cell membrane and a true nucleus, which both play a huge role in plant and animal cells. Without a cell membrane, bacteria cannot select which molecules and ions to let it go through their "body", while without the nucleus, which may alter their decision making.
