It is hard to know what you want here....

You got #"octane,"# which has several isomeric forms....perhaps up to 18(?).

Anyway, we know that ONE equiv of chlorine gas will react with one equivalent of octane, to give one equiv of chloro-octane....and one equiv of #HCl#....i.e.

#H_3C-CH_2CH_2CH_2CH_2CH_2CH_2CH_3stackrel(Cl_2"/"hnu)rarrC_8H_17Cl+HCl#

...and we would expect an isomeric mix...substitution of the internal carbons, rather than the methyl carbons, is kinetically more likely.
