Going half the circle means new position is just to the diametrically opposite point to that of the initial point.

So,displacement = diameter of the circle = 2* radius =(2*3.70)Km or 7.4 Km or, 740 m

Now, average velocity = total displacement/total time = (740/170) m/s or, 4.35 m/s

Now, distance covered in this time = half the perimeter of the circle i.e pi*r or, 11.62 Km or, 11620 m

So, average speed = total distance covered/total time = (11620/170) m/s i.e 68.35 m/s
