Explanation:

The formation of an ester bond between the glycerol and fatty acid by a condensation reaction produces one molecule of water, and a monoglyceride.
If there were three fatty acid chains to be added to the glycerol, which would form a triglyceride, 3 molecules of water would be produced. And, so it is clear that one molecule of water is formed for each ester bond synthesized.
