# color(red)(y = x(x+4)(x-2) -= x(x^2 + 2x -8) -= x^3 + 2x^2 -8x #

Explanation:

For this problem we must consider a function who has particular zero's, and we know #y = (x-alpha)(x-beta) # has zero's at:

#x-alpha = 0 => x = alpha#

#x- beta = 0 => x = beta #

So adaptig that, we set the following to be our zero's

#x = -4 #

#x = 2#

#x=0#

#=> x +4 = 0 #

#=> x -2 = 0 #

#=.x = 0 #

Now mulitplying together, as they all equall 0:

# color(red)(y = x(x+4)(x-2) = x(x^2 + 2x -8) = x^3 + 2x^2 -8x #

This could be a function with your speicifc zero's
