Given:-

h=6 feet

By Pythagoras theorem:-
h^2=p^2+b^2

Substituting the values:-

h^2=5^2+6^2
or
h=sqrt(25+36)
therefore hypotenuse(h)=sqrt 61 feet which is also the required value.
