With time our Earth's atmosphere has suffered drastic changes..
Early atmosphere:-
Nitrogen-80%
Carbon dioxide-18%
Water vapor-1%
Hydrogen-1%

Now:-
Nitrogen-78%
Carbon dioxide-0.03%
Argon-9%
Oxygen-21%
Others-0.07%

You see probably the atmosphere of the earth has changed over a period of 4.5 billion years..

If you see today there are more ozone holes in our atmosphere than before due to high emissions of CFC and CO and CO2 from different agents.

The stratosphere is continuously developing holes through which harmful UV rays are directly coming to the earth.The Ozone layer
is gradually getting depleted.
