The masses are

${M}_{1} = 24 k g$

${M}_{2} = 22 k g$

The distance $b = 4 m$

Taking moments about the fulcrum

${M}_{1} g \cdot a = {M}_{2} g \cdot b$

$a = {M}_{2} / {M}_{1} \cdot b = \frac{22}{24} \cdot 4 = 3.67 m$

The distance is $= 3.67 m$
