If 150 trees will be planted in total, there is 25 maple, 50 hackberries (25x2, twice as much) and the remainder will be 75 evergreens (150- 25- 50= 75). The percentage of evergreens will be 50%. If you are using a calculator, you can find this percentage by finding the value of 75/150= 0.5 or 50%, or you can realize that 75 is half of 150, thus, 50% of the trees will be evergreens.
