Dupuytren's contracture can affect any fingers, although it most often affects the ring and pinky fingers.

Explanation:

Dupuytren's contracture is caused by a thickening of the palmar tendons. When this thickening occurs, it causes a palmar flexion of the affected fingers; they are then unable to fully extend.

Most often, it is the ring finger and pinky finger that are affected; the middle finger may be, in advanced cases. It is rare that the thumb and index finger are affected.
