Distribute the rectangle sheet of paper into two triangles like this..

Now... let
#60=a#
#40=b#

Then....
#60^2+40^2=c^2#
If you're thinking that it's a very big number and how will you multiply it... notice that there's a zero in the end so it's just like this
#60^2=3600# as #6^2=36# and you added two zero's as there is one in the square root
Solve
#3600+1600=c^2#
#5200=c^2#
It is not a perfect square but notice that it's between #72^2=5184# and #73^2=5329#

But as it is more close to the #72^2# one... it is almost #72cm#
