For a freely falling body, time of fall is given by

#t = sqrt((2h)/g)#

From above relation it is clear that time of fall is independent of mass of falling object.

So, time taken by feather to fall 2.0 m is

#t = sqrt(("2 × 2.0 m")/("1.67 m/s"^2)) = "1.5 s"#
