Fruits are not important for pollination.

Explanation:

Pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther of flower to the stigma of the same flower or other flowers on the same or different plant.

The pollination is brought about by different agencies, mainly wind and insects.

Flower plays important role in insect pollination (entomophily). Different parts of flower, mainly petals, are brightly colored to attract insects. The nectar secreted in flower also attract insects. Some flowers are structurally adapted to attract particular insects.

Insects visiting flowers due to their attraction bring about pollination.

Fruits thus play no role in the process of pollination.
