Absolutely not..............


Nuclear fuels consist of radioactive nuclides.....Molecules that contain carbon and hydrogen atoms are chemical fuels, that we can combust to provide usable energy:

#CH_4(g) + 2O_2(g) rarr CO_2(g) + 2H_2O(l) + Delta#

The energy output from mass conversion in a nuclear reaction is orders of magnitude larger. For a better answer, search the Physics forum.
