Using mirror formula to find the position of the bottle's image,

so, # 1/v + 1/u = 1/f#

here, #u=-1.5 m# and #f=- 0.5 m#

So, #v=-0.75#

So,image will be formed #0.75m# away from the pole of mirror, in the direction where the object is placed.

So,magnification = #-(v/u)=-(0.75/1.5)=-0.5#

That means,the image will be inverted(minus sign tells that),real and half the length of the object.

To get magnified virtual image you must put it with in the distance of focal length and to get magnified real image you need to put it away from #2f# i.e more than twice the distance of focal length of the mirror.(you can prove this using the mirror formula.)
