Can you give an example of a book that has an epilogue and a sequel?
The Three Musketeers
The Three Musketeers has a one- or two-page epilogue describing the immediate disposition of all the major characters. Alexandre Dumas wrote two sequels, Twenty Years After (Vingt ans après, 1845) and The Vicomte de Bragelonne , sometimes called "Ten Years Later" (1847). "The Man in the Iron Mask" is taken from the latter of these. The three books are collectively known as "The D'Artagnan Romances."
