Explanation:
When the water goes into the cell through the cell membrane, that process is called osmosis. Osmosis is the process of solvent molecules diffusing down a concentration gradient, i.e. moving from a region of higher concentration to a region of a lower concentration through a partially permeable membrane, in this case it's the cell membrane.
