Difference between kinetics and kinematics?

Well primarily, classical mechanics can be divided into Kinetics and Kinematics

Kinetics is that branch of classical mechanics which deals with absolute motion of an object(i.e w.r.t that object),which is further divided into Dynamics and Statics

Whereas. Kinematics deals with relative motion of an object.

In that sense,we can say,that the statement, The Sun moves round the earth is Kinematically correct but kinetically wrong.

As,relative to the Earth,the Sun moves round it.
