So first we find the area of the base.

Since this is a 3-4-5 right triangle, we just multiply the base and height. Since 5 is the hypotenuse, we do the area formula for the triangle

#1/2 * bh = 1/2 * 3*4#

This would be #6#.

Therefore, we found the base of the prism

Now we are also given the height, which is #7#

We have all of our components.

#6*7 = 42#
And we are done.
