differentiate the equation will give you
#y'=1/2x^(-1/2)#

note that #y'# is the slope

so substitute #y'=1#
#1/2x^(-1/2)=1#
#sqrtx=1/2#
#x=1/4#

find the y value by substituting the x value into the equation
#y=sqrt(1/4)#
#y=+-1/2#

therefore thepoint is at #(1/4,1/2) # and #(1/4,-1/2)#
