Graphing vertical lines on Socratic?

1 Answer

Although the Socratic Graph feature does not (currently) recognize vertical lines, it will graph a line with slope 1000

Explanation:

To graph x = 7, use y = 1000x-7000 (or, of course, y = 1000(x-7)

graph{y = 1000x-7000 [-2.37, 20.13, -5.755, 5.495]}

graph {((y-0x-100)(x-0y-2)(x-0y+2))=0:

graph{((y-0x-100)(x-0y-2)(x-0y+2))=0 [-2.37, 20.13, -5.755, 5.495]}
