Hi may i know in the preparation of soluble salts, when do we use titration? Thanks

When all the reactants are soluble, you need a titration procedure to work out how much of the acid is to be added to a given volume of alkali.

For example: A Method of Making a Water Soluble Salt is by

**neutralising a soluble acid with a soluble base (alkali) to give a soluble salt 'using titration'

You should note that if one of the reactants is insoluble , you can't use a titration procedure to work out how much of the acid is to be added to a given amount of the solid.
