Gas giants/Jovian planets are also called the outer planets, they are made of gases, they are large and less dense, more moons.
Terrestrial/Rocky planets are also called the inner planets. They are made of rocky surface, denser than Jovians, and small, little or no moons.
Look how large the Gas giants are compared to the terrestrials.
