#g(x) =0.04 f(x)#

So g(x) is a scaled-down version of f(x)

Explanation:

If #f(x) = x^2#, then #x = pm sqrt (f(x))#.

It follows that:

#g(x)=(0.2x)^2 =(0.2(pm sqrt (f(x))))^2#

#=0.04 f(x)#

It would, of course, be a lot simpler to expand the original expressions:

#f(x) = x^2#,

and

#g(x)=(0.2x)^2 = 0.04 x^2#

#implies g(x) =0.04 f(x)#
