g(x) =0.04 f(x)

So g(x) is a scaled-down version of f(x)

Explanation:

If f(x) = x^2, then x = pm sqrt (f(x)).

It follows that:

g(x)=(0.2x)^2 =(0.2(pm sqrt (f(x))))^2

=0.04 f(x)

It would, of course, be a lot simpler to expand the original expressions:

f(x) = x^2,

and

g(x)=(0.2x)^2 = 0.04 x^2

implies g(x) =0.04 f(x)
