For example, only 3 people were suspected to be the killers. One had blood type A, type O, and type B. At the scene of the murder, blood type B was found and it belongs to the killer.

If type B was found, it is impossible for the suspects with type A and O to be the killer, ruling them out. Because only one suspect has type B, they must be the killer.
