How can weather affect the price of food?
Since weather can affect output on crops, bad weather can lead to a low output, which leads to price hikes.
Weather can cause different types of environmental difficulties to farmers such as dry spells.
Not enough water can make prices of crops increase such as rice, wheat or sugar cane since they need water to grow and it would become more difficult to farm. The more difficult it is to grow something the more it will cost.
