But the oxygen tank would do the job. The Oxygen levels in your lung would get so high that it would overwhelm the bodies function to carry it away using hemoglobin.

The free oxygen would attach to proteins in your lungs and mess with the job of the central nervous system. The Oxygen, with nowhere to go, will flood your body. No longer able to breathe due to oxygen toxicity, your body shuts down and you will DIE.
