You can count your pulse where artery is at the surface. Pulse can be felt at wrist. It is called pulse point. With the help of watch feel the pulse for a minute. If not sure count pulse rate for two times for two minutes and have an average.
Pulse changes when you do exercise. Count the pulse rate after jogging or after climbing stairs. The pulse rate always increase after exercise.
When you wake up after sleep the pulse rate is 72 minutes per minute.
