Plants get food not only for themselves but also for all the living organisms on the planet earth by a process called Photosynthesis.
Explanation:
Plants have a green pigment in their leaves and in young stems called chlorophyll. This chlorophyll will trap the solar energy and converts it to chemical energy and prepares its own food. This process is called Photosynthesis.
