Do remember when adding variables in expressions, you only can add and subtract variables that are of the same value like `2color(red)x+6color(red)x=8color(red)x` and `7color(blue)y-8color(blue)y=-color(blue)y`

As the variables `x` and `y` are different, you cannot add them up in an expression.

Hence an expression like `6x+8y` cannot be simplified through addition.
