# How do you convert 52 grams of N_2 to moles?

This mass represents approx. $2 \cdot m o l$ with respect to $\text{dinitrogen}$..........
As always $\text{Number of moles}$ $=$ $\text{Mass"/"Molar mass}$.
And ${N}_{2}$ has a molar mass of $28.02 \cdot g \cdot m o {l}^{-} 1$. From where did I get this figure? From where will you get it, if you are asked this question in an exam?
And so we solve the quotient, (52*g)/(28.0*g*mol^-1)=??*mol. Why do I get an answer with units of $m o l$?
