first you have to do whats in the parenthesis and then what ever answer you get you multiply it by whats outside of the parenthesis

$-2.5 (3.7 - 9.07)$

$=> -2.5 (-(9.07-3.7))$

$=> -2.5(-5.37)$ as $9.07 - 3.7 = 5.37$

$=> -2.5 * - 5.37$ Removing the bracket

$=> 2.5 * 5.37$ as $(-) * (-) = +$

$=> 13.425$
