Use the order of operations

Explanation:

If you get hurt in PE call an MD ASap.

So start with the parenthesis working from the inside out.

#49/7 + 10{3(9-2) -2(17-8) = 49/7 + 10{ 3(7) - 2 (9)}

Now multiply within the brackets.

# 49/7 + 10{3(7) - 2(9)} = 49/7 + 10{ 21 -18}

Now subtract within the brackets.

49/7 + 10 ( 21-18 ) = 49/7 + 10(3)

Now do the multiplication and division working from left to right.

49/7 + 10(3) = 7 + 10(3)

7 + 10(3) = 7 + 30

Now do addition and subtraction working from left to right.

7 + 30 = 37
