How do you evaluate log_5 5?

${\log}_{5} 5 = 1$
When we write ${\log}_{x} y = z$, we ask to what power we raise the base $x$ to get $y$; here if ${\log}_{x} y = z$, then ${x}^{z} = y$. I can use any base, but typically scientists assume natural logarithms, ${\log}_{e}$, if the base is not specified, or, more rarely, ${\log}_{10}$.
Given this, can you tell me ${\log}_{10} 100$, ${\log}_{10} 1000$, and ${\log}_{10} 0.01$? These are all simple whole numbers.
