# How do you expand log N^3?

$\log \left({N}^{3}\right) = 3 \log \left(N\right)$
I assume what is intended is $\log \left({N}^{3}\right)$ and not ${\left(\log N\right)}^{3}$
In general: $\log \left({p}^{q}\right) = q \cdot \log \left(p\right)$
Without knowing the value of $N$ the given expression can not be expanded further.
