How do you find local min and max for f(x) = −x^4 − x^2?
After factorization I get following result: 2x(-2x^2 - 1)
When trying to solve for x with 2x(-2x^2 - 1) = 0 I cannot find any possible value for x.
Does that mean that there is no min or max?
