Area of the Trapezoid $= 180$

The Area of a Trapezoid is
$A = {b_1 + b_2}/2 * h$

where $h$ is the height, $b_1$ is the base, and $b_2$ is the "top side"

in other words, the Area of a Trapezoid is the "Average of the Bases times the Height"

in this case,
$b_1 = 28$
$b_2 = 8$
and
$h = 10$

which gives us
$A = {28+8}/2 * 10$
$A = 36/2 * 10$
