You first compare the $y$-steps to the corresponding $x$-steps.

You will notice that they both step up by $1$ per step.
So the slope of the function is $1 / 1 = 1$

Second is to find the $y$-value for $x = 0$
This gives us the $y$-intercept $6$

So the equation becomes:
$y = m x + b = 1 \cdot x + 6 = x + 6$ (check the graph)
