This system of equations has no solution since the first one says:

$x^2-y = 8$

while the second one gives us:

$x^2-y = -(y-x^2) = -0 = 0$

and $8 != 0$

How do you find the solution of the system of equations x^2-y= 8x^2-y= 8 and y-x^2= 0y-x^2= 0?
