How do you find x when y= -2, -1, 0 and 1 given 2x+y=5?

$x = \frac{7}{2} , 3 , \frac{5}{2} , 2$
$y = - 2 \Rightarrow 2 x - 2 = 5 \Rightarrow 2 x = 7 \Rightarrow x = \frac{7}{2}$
$y = - 1 \Rightarrow 2 x - 1 = 5 \Rightarrow 2 x = 6 \Rightarrow x = 3$
$y = 0 \Rightarrow 2 x + 0 = 5 \Rightarrow 2 x = 5 \Rightarrow x = \frac{5}{2}$
$y = 1 \Rightarrow 2 x + 1 = 5 \Rightarrow 2 x = 4 \Rightarrow x = 2$
