Given $| f \left(x\right) | > k , x : \in \mathbb{R}$
$f \left(x\right) > k$ and $f \left(x\right) < - k$
Now $f \left(x\right) = 5 x + 3$ and $k = 2$
$5 x + 3 > 2$ and $5 x + 3 < - 2$
$x > - \frac{1}{5} \mathmr{and} x < - 1$
