Like any fraction multiply the tops multiply the bottoms and divide out common factors.

Explanation:

(6x)/10 xx (6x)/(3x^3) = (36x^2)/(30x^3) factoring this gives.

(36x^2)/ (30x^3) = ( 2 xx 3 xx 6 xx x^2)/ ( 2 xx 3 xx 5 xx x^2 xx x)

dividing out the common factors of ( 2 xx 3 xx x^2) leaves

6/(5x)
