Let's start with the original:

The first thing I want to deal with is all those negative signs. There are two in the left-term and two in the right term. Remember that:

#-1xx-1=1#

And so the negatives in the two fractions multiply against each other and become 1, so those are now gone. We can now clean this up a bit:

Let's combine the two terms, cancel what we can, and see where we end up:
