# (3x - 6)/14#

Explanation:

first step is to factor both numerators

#( 6(x +1))/7 ÷ (4(x +1))/(x-2)#
when dividing 2 fractions , we can change to multiplying , by 'inverting' the 2nd fraction ( turn it upside down ).

hence becomes: #(6(x+1))/7 xx (x-2)/(4(x+1)#

simplifying : #(6cancel(x+1))/7 xx (x-2)/(4cancel(x+1))#

# = (6(x-2))/28 =( 3(x-2))/14 = (3x-6)/14 #
