Well, first, we'll add #-7v+3v# because they both are variables and can be added,
#-4=-4v#
Then, from #-4v#, we'll take the number #-4#, and because it's in multiplying in RHS, we'll make it divisible in LHS,
#frac(-4) -4 = v#
The numerator #-4# in #frac color(red)(-4)(-4)# will be simplified with the denominator #-4# in #frac(-4)color(red)(-4)#. Then, it will be,
#v=1#
