$\therefore y = - 2 x - 2. . \to \left(3\right)$

Substitute value of $y$ into$\left(1\right)$

$\therefore 3 x + 2 \left(- 2 x - 2\right) = 2$

$\therefore 3 x - 4 x - 4 = 2$

$\therefore - x = 2 + 4$

$\therefore x = - 6$

Subst. $x = - 6$ into$\left(3\right)$

$\therefore y = - 2 \left(- 6\right) - 2 = 12 - 2$

$\therefore y = 10$

Hence , $x = - 6 \mathmr{and} y = 10$
