How do you solve the following system: 8x-3y=3, 7x-2y= -67 ?

We can use any of the 3 methods to solve it: Substitution, Elimination or Cross multiplication method.
I am using substitution method here to solve this system.

Explanation:

This is how we do this:
8x-3y=3 (equa.1)
x=(3+3y)/8

7x-2y=-67 (equa.2)
putting the value of 'x' in equation 2
7*(3+3y)/8 -2y=-67
(21+21y)/8 -2y=-67
21+21y-16y=-67*8
21+5y=-536
5y=557
y=557/5
now put the value of y in the equation 1 for getting the value of x.
