Solution: # p=2 , q=1#

Explanation:

#7 p=8+6 q or 7 p-6 q =8 (1) ; 9 p+ 4 q =22 (2)#

Multiplying equation (1) by #2# and equation (2) by #3# we get,

#14 p-12 q =16 (3) ; 27 p+ 12 q =66 (4)#. Adding equation (3)

and equation (4) we get, #41 p = 82 :. p= 82/41=2# , Putting

#p=2# in equation (1) we get #7*2-6 q=8 or 6 q =14-8 # or

#6 q=6 :. q =1 :. # Solution: # p=2 , q=1# [Ans]
