# How do you use a calculator to find the derivative of f(x)=e^(x^2) ?

$f ' \left(x\right) = {e}^{{x}^{2}} \cdot \left(2 x\right)$

Solution :

let's $y = {e}^{f} \left(x\right)$

then, differentiating with respect to $x$ using Chain Rule, we get

$y ' = {e}^{f} \left(x\right) \cdot f ' \left(x\right)$

similarly following for the given function,

$f \left(x\right) = {e}^{{x}^{2}}$

$f ' \left(x\right) = {e}^{{x}^{2}} \cdot \left({x}^{2}\right) '$

$f ' \left(x\right) = {e}^{{x}^{2}} \cdot \left(2 x\right)$
