# How do you write the number in scientific notation 910?

$9.10 \times {10}^{2}$
Scientific notation is of the form $a \times {10}^{b}$, where $a$ is a number with one non-zero digit in front of the decimal point.
In order to make $9.10 \times {10}^{b} = 910 \to b = 2$
Note : this is NOT the same answer as $9.1 \times {10}^{2}$!
